Refund & Returns Policy
Every painting sold by Monique Paré is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art. Because of the unique nature of original artwork, all sales are considered final — except in the case of damage during shipping. We take great care in packaging every piece, and in the rare event that something goes wrong in transit, we will make it right.
All Sales Are Final
As each painting is an original work of art, we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, colour variation from screen to real life, or sizing concerns. We encourage buyers to review all product photos, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before purchasing, and to contact us with any questions prior to placing an order.
Damaged Shipments
If your painting arrives damaged, we sincerely apologise and will work with you promptly to resolve the situation. To be eligible for a return and refund in the event of damage, please follow these steps:
- Photograph the damage immediately upon receipt, before removing or discarding any packaging materials.
- Keep all original packaging materials — these may be required for an insurance claim.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@moniquepare.com with your order details and photographs of the damage.
Claims submitted after 7 days of the delivery date will unfortunately not be eligible for a return or refund.
The Refund Process
Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions for returning the painting. The painting must be returned in its original packaging in the same condition it was received.
Upon safe receipt of the returned painting, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that the refund will reflect the original purchase price of the painting minus shipping and handling costs, as these are non-refundable.
Commissions
Commissioned paintings are custom works created specifically for the buyer and are non-refundable. We work closely with each client throughout the commission process to ensure the final piece meets their vision. Full payment is required before work begins.
